Morrigan

Getting really into these Photoshop CS5 mixer brushes. Still really slow with them. If you’ve been watching me livestream here is the finished Morrigan piece. I’ll also have a Lillith piece to go along with this. I will have prints of it ready in time for Megacon this year! I’ll be posting more info on my table soon. Thanks!

Commission Time!

Hi everyone! The holidays are coming up and I am taking commissions! I finally caught a break from doing storyboard gigs and now I’m up for a change of pace. Original artwork always makes an awesome gift! Check out the recent work I did for my good friend Kara.

1 Character, Penciled, Inked, Colored with Copics – $50

1 Character, Penciled, Inked, Digital Coloring – $65

Tan Lines

So I just finished this one up… I guess by leaving the heels on, it ends up being sort of risque…But whatever. She’s gorgeous. Prudes to the left.

Inspired by looking at McGinnis, Peak, and Georgi.

They are available (8×8) for $7, and 18 x 18 prints are $15! (US Only – Includes shipping).(And of course it won’t include the web address at the bottom!)International buyers – Please e-mail me at smashpansy@gmail.com for an invoice.

I Wish I Was Robert McGinnis

She was originally drawn with clothes on, but I don’t think I have the heart to add them now. What a predicament.

Work in progress, check back for more updates!

Victorian Girl

Finished this painting after stepping away from it for a week. It’s always weird how an image you’ve been looking at for so long looks so different when you come back to it after a while.

This was a fun test of the mixer brushes in Photoshop CS5. I’m finally getting the hang of them, and while this method is time consuming at the moment, I’m sure I’ll get faster and better with it and might just make it a regular part of my arsenal.

Prints are for sale, of course!

Painting and sketches…

Busy busy busy busy busy…

I was digging through one of my sketchbooks today and found these roughs for a Deadpool page I never got around to completing. Oh well. Drawing the dogpile was really fun and not as tough as I thought it would be (yay perspective grids!)

Next up I have this portrait I’m painting in PS CS5 to learn how the mixer brushes work, and also to test out how much my new pc can handle in PS – which is actually turning out to be quite a powerhouse. No more laggy crashing photoshop for me! At least for the next few years… lol!

Gotta tell ya, building a pc from scratch is the way to go. I’ll probably never buy another boxed system again (notebooks are the exception). Loving my new hardware and can’t wait to start doing a lot of digital work. Look forward to it!

Q-Bee – Finished!

Q-Bee fanartHey all!

I’ve finally finished the Q-Bee piece. Sorry for the delay, I’ve been busy with work and building a new computer! I’ve promised myself to be ultra-productive with it so I will be doing much more digital art. Please come back frequently to see what I’ve been up to!

Prints are available (8×10) for $7, and 11 x 17 prints are $15! (US Only – Includes shipping).(And of course it won’t include the web address at the bottom!)International buyers – Please e-mail me at smashpansy@gmail.com for an invoice.

Q-Bee Inks

Just inked the Q-Bee pinup I was working on!

Darkstalkers!

I was watching a Vampire Savior tourney online today and started missing Darkstalkers so I did a cute Q-Bee pinup! I tried to ink it but my inking skills are not cooperating tonight – oh well! I’ll get it inked and colored soon so keep an eye out!

What’s your favorite Darkstalkers character?

Wine Bottles!!!

Working on a wine bottle label now! Here’s the thumb of the composition, and I hope to post a step-by-step in the coming weeks..
