Finished Lilith!

Hey guys! Just finished my painting of Lilith. This one was a big challenge for me as I’m trying to work with light more effectively and I’m only now feeling comfortable with PS CS5′s mixer brush tool. Thanks to everyone that has watched me work on this over Livestream! I will have prints of this ready and up on my shop soon. In the meantime, I’d love to hear what everyone thinks.

In other news, on the Garrus body pillow front, the fabric printer has approved the test print I sent off a few days ago! Now that I have all the manufacturing process planned out I can start working on the final artwork. So excited.

CorgiShep and Lillith

Hey all! Today I got a chance to color in my inked CorgiShep drawing. It’s pretty simple but that’s okay since it’s going to be a tattoo and I’d rather leave it to the tattoo artist to decide how it would be rendered best. They might still go with the flat colors I have here. When it’s tattooed I’ll show pics.

So here’s the newest update on the Lilith painting I’ve been doing. Thanks to everyone that came and watched my Livestream! This one’s almost done.

Some sketches, tattoo update, and Lillith

Hello everyone! I’ve been pretty busy lately, with my coloring gig and getting prints and sample pages ready for Heroescon and working on at least one pitch and a couple of tattoo designs…

…and let’s not forget the moe body pillow…

…forgive the blurry cell cam shots…

So that’s coming along, also Mass Effect related, my bf got the idea to get a welsh corgi dressed as Commander Shepard tattooed on his left foot… so without further ado,

Here is the “Nerd Life” tattoo I mentioned in a previous post all finished. Well, I guess it’s got some touchups (like the black visor for the green ranger in the first letter “E”) but I think it turned out pretty well!

Lastly, here’s a work in progress of the Lilith painting I’ve been slaving away at on my Livestream. I am going to start posting links here ahead of when I start streaming, so I hope you’ll all tune in!

That’s all for me! Gotta get back to work. Look forward to some Avengers artwork, finished drawings of the sketches above, more tattoo shots, and maybe even some fashion photoshoot stuff!

Garrus Body Pillow Sketch

Sketched this one out as a quick gag so please forgive the awkward crop.   It’s our Mass Effect hearthrob, Garrus Vakarian looking all moe and shit.   Should I revisit this and finish it and get it printed off on a body pillow for the lulz? TUNE IN NEXT TIME AND SEE, FOLKS!

NERD LIFE

NERD LIFEHi all! Check out the tattoo design I recently did. I’ll post photos later this week when it’s actually on someone’s arm…

Morrigan

Getting really into these Photoshop CS5 mixer brushes. Still really slow with them. If you’ve been watching me livestream here is the finished Morrigan piece. I’ll also have a Lillith piece to go along with this. I will have prints of it ready in time for Megacon this year! I’ll be posting more info on my table soon. Thanks!

I Wish I Was Robert McGinnis

She was originally drawn with clothes on, but I don’t think I have the heart to add them now. What a predicament.

Work in progress, check back for more updates!

Victorian Girl

Finished this painting after stepping away from it for a week. It’s always weird how an image you’ve been looking at for so long looks so different when you come back to it after a while.

This was a fun test of the mixer brushes in Photoshop CS5. I’m finally getting the hang of them, and while this method is time consuming at the moment, I’m sure I’ll get faster and better with it and might just make it a regular part of my arsenal.
